A Garden Celebration in Westchester

Tossed petals, an heirloom rose arch, and a reception that stretched happily into the night.

Claire and Daniel wanted their wedding to feel like a summer garden party with everyone they love in one place. They found exactly that at a Westchester estate with old trees, winding paths, and an heirloom rose arch that became the heart of the day.

A morning among the flowers

Getting ready was easy and full of laughter. Claire’s sisters tied ribbons on the bouquets while Daniel and his groomsmen walked the gardens with coffee. We photographed the stationery and rings in the soft light of the conservatory before the guests arrived.

Petals and promises

The ceremony took place beneath the rose arch, with guests seated on the lawn in the shade of the oaks. When the two of them walked back down the aisle, a wave of tossed petals followed them, and the whole garden erupted in cheers.

“Every time we look at the photographs, we can hear the music and smell the roses. It’s like being back in that garden.”

After the ceremony, we slipped away for portraits along the garden paths, then joined the wedding party beneath the trees for a few joyful, chaotic group photographs.

Into the night

Dinner was served at long tables lined with candles and garden roses. The toasts were heartfelt, the dance floor filled early, and the evening stretched happily into the night, ending with a sparkler send-off under the stars.
